Program Notes

This was my entry to the Ryan Leach Composition Contest in October 2022. It was a finalist, ending up in fifth place overall out of over 500 entries. The assignment was to write a piece of no more than 90 seconds that accompanies the given image, scored for the above orchestration. The piece imagines a gathering in the spooky woods at midnight, of various witches and ne’er-do-wells up to some sort of mischief.
